RB-F Bridge Type High-Speed 5-Axis Machining Center

The RB-F is the newest addition to the best-selling RB series, as a new bridge type 5-axis machining center added with 5-axis capabilities while inheriting the basic bridge type machining structure.

The table width of 1,500mm to 4,000mm enables 5-axis machining of large workpieces.

  • The large table working surface and extra-large X-and Y-axis travels permit the machining of larger or long workpieces.
  • The large ram is provided to ensure highly rigid and precision machining.
  • The fully enclosed splash guard (option) ensures a clean working environment
    and worker safety.
  • Various supporting functions for multi-sided and 5-axis machining are available.
    The best way machining is realized per usage pattern.

By replacing conventional way with 5-axis machining by RB-F for multi-sided and continuous 5-axis machining, it improves efficiency.

Previously, mold component with inclined face, aircraft part and
cylinder block needed special jigs, tooling and setup for many times.
With its 5-axis control capability, RB-F not only stops using special
jigs and reduces the number of work setups but also provides stable machining accuracy by one chucking.
形状加工での工具費削減 Reduction tooling costs for profile milling
In the profile milling using a ball end mill, a 3-axis machine has an adverse effect upon the tool life and finished surface roughness because the cutting speed in the tool center becomes zero.
With its 5-axis control capability, it machines surface in inclined attitude, and enables machining in the best cutting condition. Tool life and quality of machining face will be improved.
